The Season of Easter Introduction

He has risen! Ahhhhh yeah! The season of Easter should be just as celebratory as the morning of Easter, because the One we thought was dead is now alive, the One we thought was lost is here! The resurrection of Jesus should serve as the foundation of how we live, how we relate to each other, and how we serve our community. So this Easter season we will be exploring how we can live into the resurrected life. How can we as a people live into the realities of new life in Jesus If there were no obstacles before us, how would we live fully into what Jesus is calling us to be and do? To get after this, we will be studying the 7 signs of Jesus found in John's gospel, miracles that reveal His divinity, and get a glimpse into the realities of His Kingdom. In addition to studying, we will be considering how (in light of being people of the resurrection) we can serve our community and display this hope. He has risen! Let's live into it!
