How do We Respond to the Needs Around Us?

Happy Easter! We STILL get to say that all season long, because we are still in the season of Easter. We have been asking the question, “How do we as a community live into the realities of the resurrection? And, how does that change how we look at the needs in our world?” This Sunday at Mosaic, we are returning to the discussion we had a few weeks ago when we looked at John 6, where we see Jesus generously responding to the needs of a royal official and generously initiating the healing of a sick man. The Church does well when we follow Jesus’ lead in this, ready to respond to the needs around us AND actively initiating service in our community. On Sunday we will take the general ideas of service we came up with together and break into small groups to brainstorm specific ideas and specific projects where we can specifically serve a specific group of people. So pray with me that the Holy Spirit would guide our discussions to where God would have us move and be in the season ahead. Looking forward to seeing you soon! ~Aaron
